WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE                                      

Sometimes I just want to step off this planet and be done with it, yet I know that will only happen when it's God's time.  I see all the young people and now even some older people being so distracted by electronic gadgets and devices to entertain us, 24-7.  It is almost as if a person today cannot be quiet and alone just with themselves and or, more importantly, with God.  That troubles me in that I believe this is a time when we need to be seeking to hear God's voice even more clearly than we have in the past, now that the noise of the world and the enemy is so much louder.  

There are so many distractions to keep us from doing some of the really important things in life, like communing with our creator, with friends and with family.  God's heart’s desire is to communicate with His creation, (us).  But when will that take place if all our waking hours are taken with work, and after work, I- Pads, Facebook, email, text messaging, computer games, cell phones, other computer type gadgets and TV.  If it comes right down to it we could ask the very real question? "Is all of this recent technology, of God, or the enemy?"  The enemy sure seems to use these things to preoccupy all of our waking hours with doing something other than communicating with God and/ or with other human beings.

I guess I was really shocked and dismayed the other day when a co-worker, a very nice Christian lady and friend asked me about a recent biopsy I had, checking for Cancer.  Before I could fully answer her question she was looking at her cell phone and resumed playing a game.  I had totally lost her mid-sentence.

  I'm not one to give long boring answers to questions.  I try to get right to the point because I know people’s attention span is getting less and less these days, (another subject to be discussed later).  Nevertheless, I still couldn't keep her attention long enough to answer her question about whether I had cancer or not.  I walked away without finishing my sentence and I don’t think she even noticed. I have to admit I was a little disheartened.

Another co-worker of mine whom I give report to every day will be reading his text messages all through the report and I usually have to repeat everything two or three times.  I am 62 years old, call me old fashioned but I was taught to pay attention to those who are speaking to me and give them the courtesy of a response.  A little eye contact was nice too back in the day.

I don't do all the gadgetry that most do although I am not totally ignorant with computers. I'm using my computer keyboard right now.  But what concerns me is that even I find it difficult finding the time to spend praying, meditating and listening for the Lord's voice.  And because of all the signs of the times we are seeing today I believe this is no time to let down on listening for God's daily instructions.  In fact, even more so as we see the evil, natural disasters, phenomenal weather changes, chaos, divisions, wars, violence, unrest, and outright, vehement anger mounting in the world today. 

I know there have always been strong disagreement and some animosity between the 2 political parties in this country but has it ever been with so much bitterness, slandering, and vindictiveness?  Even to the point of rage if you disagree with someone.  What is that all about?   

I really don't see any of the above behavior I described changing unless something drastic happens.  It looks like it would almost have to take some kind of catastrophic phenomenon to cause people to put down their gadgets and really pay attention to God and to their fellow man.  I can only see one of two things happening if things don't change.  One; God says “I’m going to get the people's attention," and allow something catastrophic to happen in order bring people to the brink immediately! He not wanting to do this would allow this, in order that all his people that are being distracted away from him would fall on their faces in repentance and return back on to him as his first love again.  Then they could look up, turn from their idiocy, and have the beginning of a great revival.  Along with that great revival we begin to see the all-powerful, loving hand of God at work. Or two; we go on as we are and God says, “enough is enough," and life AS WE UNDERSTAND IT comes to an end. I repeat "LIFE AS WE UNDERSTAND IT". And God deals with us just as we are.  I pray the former happens.

This message on web sight below has great thought out message that was put together very well by some very gifted believers on  the red blood moons Jesus talked  about. His research is well done and I would recommend it to any one because it is very accurate from what I gather . His information is well organized and very well said. I found most of what he is talking about on
net but he said it much better. I also found most of the answers to the questions he was asking on net and bible. My only disgruntle is  why they feel that they have to sell every finding if it is from God, about God and for Gods people? I mean with the use of internet we can make things free to the people of God with out it costing the sender anything except his time to research. The bible tells us that the bigger rewards in heaven will be to those who were not paid here for the work they did for God and his people. This is part of the capitalistic Gospel we sell here in America where everything is worth a buck and if it is not it is not worth anything. This is the same gospel  Jesus turned  the tables on.
 
This  four red blood moon information is very up to date. The first part is very good and free and has a lot of good free information. I hope you read it. The second part of info you will have to pay for or look it up your self. If you have the time look it up. If not then you will have to pay for it or call me to see what I found and see if it agrees with you. I could not put this together as well as this brother has with the information I found.  The four blood red moons is interesting because Jesus said this would be one of the great visible  signs before his great return.
 
Here are some questions I have asked my self that I think you should also be asking. Questions like why do we need a sign like big blood red moon  if we are already saved and his through the born again experience? Right? If we are already his people why do we need a sign can't he just come for us when he wants. Why would we need a sign? After all aren't we already his people through salvation and the blood convent?
 
Why would we need a sign to remind us of his 2nd return? Could it be because he wants us to be ready? Why does he have to instruct us how to be ready in Luke 21;36 if we are already born again and go to church? Could it be because he knew many would not be ready?

He knew many would not pay any attention to his words, warnings, or signs which is why he is giving us such a big sign that nobody could miss or could they? Everyone thinks not me even I do, but honestly why would he have to send us a sign to warn us of about when he is coming if we already know he is coming? Could it be because he knew we would not be ready? because we thought we were ready and doing fine. Every believer I talked to says and thinks he is ready even I do. All believers think they are ready except the non believer but the sign of his return is for us the believer not the nonbeliever. WHY?

I would not pay this much attention to this red blood moon stuff if Jesus had not mentioned it in his book and showed me a blood red moon last month. which kind of freaked me out a little because I never expected to see one till he came. He did say it would be one of the signs of his coming didn't he? Wouldn't it be wise to pay attention to this sign if he said it was one of the signs?  
After all aren't we are living in red blood covenant that was started when Jesus died, that just happened start on a Jewish holiday when  there was a blood red moon. Coincidence? Today we know that Jesus told us in his book that this red blood red moon is going to be one of the signs of his return. We are having four red blood moons coming 2014 & 2015 back to back which is very rare. We also know from NASA scientific calculation that these blood red moons are coming again and falling on Jewish feast
holidays just like when he died and started our blood red convent. Is this  another coincidence?
 
This blood red moon stuff is a sign not a date, this sign points to a season not a day or hour, because a date or hour was not given us only a sign to point to the season that we would know our king was coming around that time of the season. Jesus rebuked the spiritual leaders of his time for not knowing  the signs of the times. This is where ready ness is important! Like the parable Jesus gave of the king who left his kingdom and left his servants in care of his kingdom till his return of who he did not tell them when he was coming. It went well for those who where ready and waiting and not so well for those where not. The same went well for the wise virgins that were waiting and ready and not so good for the ones who did not. This can not get any more plainer than this!
  
Even if he was not coming soon his writings tell us to believe and act as if he is coming anytime just like the first church did. Will we be obedient to his word or to self, and the world? He already told us the end would be like  in the days of Noah where many did not believe him either. Don't be one of them. They did not believe him just like many will not believe he is coming today so they will not get ready nor prepared before his return through watching, prayer, and repentance. Luke 21;36
